8-BIT WORLDSZX SPECTRUM · DENDY / NES · ATARI 2600

About the project

ZX-GAME is a place to return to your favorite eight-bit games and discover the adventures you never got around to playing.

Two platforms, many adventures

Our library has two dedicated sections: ZX Spectrum and Dendy / NES. Each has its own character, controls, and memories. We keep original game titles so that it is easier to find the right version, compare releases, and learn more about the people who made them.

Browse alphabetically or search by title. Each game page brings together a description, information about the available version, and a built-in player. You do not need to install a separate application to begin: choose a game and start it on the page.

Your personal collection

A profile keeps the games you want to revisit close at hand. Add favorites, rate games, and share your thoughts in the comments. You can find another player by name and send a friend request. Games with an original two-player mode also offer a reason to spend an evening playing together on one device.

  • Favorites: a shortcut to the games you enjoy most.
  • Ratings: your opinion of each game, which you can update.
  • Comments: memories, advice, and discussion without advertising or link spam.
  • Platform histories: illustrated articles with photographs of the hardware and links to sources.

Easy to revisit, rewarding to explore

We organize the catalog so the website lets the games take center stage. Screenshots help you recognize a familiar scene, consistent cards make browsing easier, and the mobile layout keeps important controls within reach. Phones have on-screen controls; computers can use a keyboard and supported game controllers.

Historical versions can behave differently. If a game needs a control scheme selected in its opening menu or a particular key to start, check the information under its player. Found an incorrect title, a mismatched screenshot, or a game that will not start? Tell us through the contact form. Those reports help improve the catalog.

Respect for creators and fellow players

This is an independent project. Platform names, game titles, and characters belong to their respective owners; their mention does not imply an official partnership. Historical photograph credits and reuse terms appear in the captions and on the credits and licenses page.
